After bringing some of the old DoV Tribute models out of mothballs, I've decided to create a handful of new designs from scratch. With the project back in action, but not focusing on ships right now, I expect many of these to be rendered obsolete by official updates - nevertheless, it's never a bad time creating these alt-history-scifi designs, so it'll be a fun exercise imagining how things might develop. I absolutely love the ship-sheets created for Dawn of Victory in the latter modding days. They've got such a distinct and clean design, showing off the models and some specifications (for reference, the *official* Konev-Class Frigate from moddb on the left) For the initial DoV: Tribute, I sought to emulate that style as closely as possible (Svetlyak on the left) For this new iteration, I'd like to keep some of the style established in those old modding days.
